RM0.00

CAZ0003 is a revolutionary dual-layer system developed in collaboration with Triz GmbH KG & Co., Ltd., UK. This advanced coating features a micro-nano structure that delivers unparalleled water and oil repellency. Utilizing cutting-edge SURFMORE nano-modification technology, it creates an invisible air barrier on the substrate surface that prevents liquid intrusion while offering exceptional durability and abrasion resistance.

The two-step process involves applying a base coat followed by a top coat, ensuring a synergistic effect that provides outstanding hydrophobic and oleophobic properties once dried. Ideal for surfaces requiring both high-performance protection and long-lasting wear resistance.

INSTRUCTIONS OF USE

Application Method

Surface Preparation

  • Before spraying, clean the surface to be coated thoroughly, removing any old paint, rust, grease, oxidation, or debris. Ensure the surface is free of rust, grease, dust, and moisture.
  • Apply the coating immediately after cleaning to prevent re-contamination.
  • Ensure a dust-free environment with proper ventilation or air-suction equipment for optimal coating quality.

Coating Application

Step 1: Base Coat

  • Mix thoroughly before use. Apply using an HVLP spray gun (e.g., German SCHUTZE S941) for high-volume, low-pressure application.
  • Apply multiple thin, even layers to achieve a dried coating thickness of 10-25 microns.
  • Allow 20-30 minutes for the base coat to dry. Use a heat gun or hairdryer to accelerate the drying process if needed.

Step 2: Surface Coat

  • Use a separate spray gun for the surface coat, not the same one used for the base coat.
  • Apply using an HVLP spray gun (e.g., German SCHUTZE S941), ensuring multiple thin, even layers.
  • Achieve a dried coating thickness of 10-25 microns, ensuring full coverage of the base coat.

Step 3: Drying/Curing

  • The hydrophobic properties will begin to appear 30 minutes after applying the surface coat. For optimal performance, allow at least 2 hours for curing.

Maintenance and Care

  • Dual-Coat System: The ultra-hydrophobic and oleophobic properties are achieved only when both base and surface coats are applied. Once fully cured, the coating effectively resists water-oil mixtures and oil contamination.
  • Cleaning: Use low-pressure water sprays to clean the coated surface. Dust and dirt will easily rinse away, leaving the surface dry and clean.
  • Avoid Harsh Agents: Detergents, soaps, specific solvents (e.g., xylene, toluene, acetone), or high-pressure water streams may affect the coating’s performance.
  • Reapplication: If the surface coat is damaged and loses its hydrophobic/oleophobic properties, reapply the surface coat to restore its performance.

Storage

  • Recommended Temperature: 18–32°C
  • Shelf Life: 24 months.
