TAZ0025 Metal Galv Zinc Diffusion Coating High Viscocity
RM0.00
TCP0025 is a patented zinc diffusion technology designed to provide advanced corrosion protection for steel. This cutting-edge coating requires only a simple one-step dip-coating process and rapid heating to form a bright silver protective layer on steel surfaces, resembling hot-dip galvanization but with superior performance.
TCP0025 incorporates newly developed nano-particles with exceptional hydrophobic properties. These particles create a barrier that prevents water penetration while preserving the metallic finish. Additionally, the unique formulation allows for thicker coatings of up to 40 microns in a single dip, offering enhanced wear resistance and significantly improved anti-corrosion performance.

TECHNICAL DATA
Key Features:
- Eco-Friendly Zinc Coating: Free of heavy metals, ensuring a sustainable solution for galvanization.
- Balanced Durability: Cured coating offers high hardness paired with a degree of flexibility.
- High Hardness: Achieves a hardness rating of 4H+, with excellent wear resistance.
- Exceptional Corrosion Protection: Withstands over 300 hours of neutral salt spray testing.
- Superior Corrosion Resistance: Provides exceptional protection against environmental and chemical corrosion.
- No Hydrogen Embrittlement: Unlike traditional galvanization, this process eliminates the risk of hydrogen embrittlement, making it ideal for high-stress components.
- High Heat Resistance: Capable of withstanding temperatures up to 300°C, compared to traditional zinc coatings which fail at 100°C.
- Excellent Adhesion and Recoatability: Strong bonding with the metal substrate and compatibility with additional coatings, ensuring easy painting or organic coating application.
- Exceptional Penetration: Effectively coats hard-to-reach areas, such as deep holes, narrow gaps, and internal pipe walls, which are challenging for electroplating.
- Eco-Friendly Process: Zero pollution or hazardous waste, significantly reducing environmental impact and treatment costs.
- Minimal Pre-Treatment: Requires no surface preparation for oil or rust removal, enabling direct application on clean steel surfaces.
Applicable Materials
- Metal workpieces requiring corrosion-resistant surface treatment.
-
Curing Method
- Baking Temperature: 230°C for 30 minutes (workpiece surface temperature).
Main Components
- Metallic Elements: Ultra-fine zinc and aluminum flakes.
- Solvents: Inert organic solvents such as S100.
- Wear-Resistant Additives: Components like PTFE to enhance durability.
- Special Organic Compounds: Bind the coating material for effective adhesion.
Mechanism of Corrosion Protection
- Barrier Effect: Overlapping zinc and aluminum flakes form a layered shield, impeding water, oxygen, and corrosive agents from reaching the substrate.
- Passivation: During the coating process, a dense passivation layer forms through chemical reactions, enhancing corrosion resistance.
- Cathodic Protection: Functions similarly to traditional galvanization, offering sacrificial protection to the substrate.
Application Scope
- Ideal for corrosion protection on:
- Embedded components.
- Angle irons.
- Lamp posts.
- Railings and fences.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
Instructions for Use and Precautions
Preparation
- Mixing: Open the TAZ0025 container and use an electric mixer to disperse for 2 minutes.
- Dilution: Add 10-30% of the specialized thinner to TAZ0025, ensuring viscosity is adjusted to 15-18 seconds using a Ford Cup No. 4 (25°C). Stir thoroughly and transfer the mixture to the coating tank.
- Viscosity Maintenance: If the viscosity increases during use, add the specialized thinner to readjust to 15-18 seconds (25°C).
Application Environment
- Ensure the production area is well-ventilated.
- The surface of the workpiece must be free of dirt and grease.
Curing Guidelines
- Optimal Baking Temperature: Follow the recommended curing temperature (230°C for 30 minutes) precisely.
- Temperature Control:
- Baking at too low a temperature results in incomplete crosslinking.
- Baking at excessively high temperatures may cause coating chalking, leading to a loss of corrosion resistance.
Usage Cycle
- Shelf Life: 2-3 months from opening. Use as soon as possible to avoid material degradation.
Storage
- Recommended Storage Temperature: 18–25°C.
- Usage Period: 3 months.
