ZCP0008 is a specialized single-component ambient-cure adhesion primer introduced by AZ Nano Tech. Designed specifically for non-hydrophilic surfaces, this innovative primer provides excellent adhesion, forming the foundation for advanced hydrophilic topcoats.

 

The product's unique composition makes it versatile for various materials, providing durability and ensuring compatibility with subsequent inorganic hydrophilic coatings.

Key Features:

  • Fast Ambient Curing:

    • Dries to the touch within 1–3 minutes, achieving complete cure within 24 hours.

  • Superior Adhesion:

    • Excellent adhesion performance on non-hydrophilic surfaces, serving as a reliable base layer for subsequent coatings.

  • Environmentally Friendly:

    • Transparent and colorless liquid, forming a 100% inorganic coating upon curing.
    • Non-toxic, non-polluting, and non-corrosive.

Suitable Materials:

  • Plastic substrates
  • Electrophoretic coatings (e-coatings)
  • Aluminum composite panels
  • Various other non-hydrophilic materials

Curing Method:

  • Low-temperature curing: Bake at 50°C for 10 minutes, followed by:
  • 120°C for 30 minutes, or
  • 180°C for 15 minutes.

Suitable For:

  • Ambient Cure: Self-dry at room temperature for 24 hours.
  • Heat Accelerated Cure: Optional heat curing at 60°C for 30 minutes for faster results.

INSTRUCTIONS OF USE

Application Method

  • Surface Preparation

  • Cleaning the Surface:

    • Before application, ensure the substrate is thoroughly cleaned using an alkaline cleaning agent to remove oils, oxide layers, and debris.
    • Rinse the surface with clean water and ensure it is oil-free, dust-free, and streak-free. Allow the surface to dry completely before proceeding.

  • Timely Coating:

    • Once the surface is cleaned and dried, apply the coating immediately to prevent re-contamination by dust or dirt.

  • Controlled Environment:

    • Maintain a dust-free environment with appropriate ventilation or exhaust systems to ensure high-quality application.

Application Methods

  • Spray Coating: Ideal for even coverage on large or intricate surfaces.
  • Dip Coating: Suitable for smaller or submerged items.
  • Flow Coating: For controlled and consistent application over flat surfaces.
  • Blade Coating: Ensures precise and uniform film thickness for specialty applications.

Storage

  • Recommended Storage Temperature: 18-25℃
  • Shelf Life: 12 months.
